CATHERINE
Caterina Magaletta was born in Foggia and currently lives in Alba Adriatica where she has created a personal laboratory in her home, following the love for paintbrushes that has been present in her since childhood. In 2015 she joined the Misoul Art Studio, with the master Cesare D'Antonio, who accompanies her in the channeling of her creativity and artistic tendencies. What intrigues her more than the shapes are always the colors, and from the first experiences of figurative compositions, she soon soars towards abstract shapes, where she finds the most suitable expression to express her emotions. For Caterina, art is life, a moment of liberation and joy that allows her to give meaning to the efforts and difficulties of everyday life. Due to her natural propensity towards colors in all their nuances and the desire to project them on the canvas, Caterina feels very close to Van Ghogh and at the same time distant. In fact, his brushes are not guided by moments of anger or sadness, as happened to the great Vincent, but by moments of quiet and serenity that allow his soul to open up in all its light.
